A good evening and a warm welcome to one and all present over here.

A ship is always safe at the shore but that’s not what it is built for. Initially, we roll down a red carpet of welcome to all the dignitaries, parents and guests; well-wishers, and friends.

It’s an honor that this beautiful audience has gathered here. I (names of the host) once again welcome you all on behalf of the respected principle (name of the principal), teachers, and whole school family on this beautiful function aimed to celebrate and honor non-governmental organizations or NGOs. So thank you all for giving your valuable and prized time.

Indeed NGOs have significant roles to play, alongside government, in our improvement. Also, they take work of moral and social responsibilities that ought to be taken by the government.
