Hello, I have a question:
If I could say “any others” instead of “any other pots” in the sentence that you provided, I believe that I could also have said “any other ones”, right?
I believe “any other ones” is a third interchangeable option that does not interfere too much in the sense of the sentence. Am I correct?
Thank you.
Hi dear Camille,
According to grammar your sentence makes a correct sense and is correct.
hello, for this one “These posts are too big. Do you have any others?”
is it correct to replace with “These posts are too big. Do you have another ones?”
thanks
Hello Ando,
Your sentence is not correct grammatically because another refers to a one thing or a person.
